EMERGENCY CONTACTS FOR TAIJI, JAPAN

I very strongly suggest that we contact the Fishermen's Union, the Mayor of Taiji, the Fishery Division, and the Governor of Wakayama since they're very closely associated with the drive hunts. We need to urge them to spare the lives of the trapped Bottlenoses - including the mother and her extremely young albino - and allow them to return to their home waters.

I looked into my files for my Facebook group - Advocates Against Cetacean Cruelty - and was able to put together the following contact info:

FISHERMEN'S UNION:

Headquarters of the brutal 'fishermen' of Taiji, including the notorious 'Private Space'. The name of the leader is Hirofumi Seko. The name of the sales manager is Yoshifumi Kai.

Fax: +81-73-559-2821 or +81-73-559-3018

Phone: +81-73-441-3010
Fax: +81-73-432-4124

MR. YOSHIKI KIMURA - GOVERNOR OF WAKAYAMA PREFECTURE:

I do hope the above info is up to date and that you guys were able to reach the individual contacts without too much difficulty. If you find some of the info to be inaccurate, please do let me know so that I can amend with the correct info that you'd give me. Many thanks for your time and assistance! LAURICE
